Tech Tuesday: FOREO Luna

I must preface this post by stating that I have not used any of FOREO's products.  This post will be bases solely on my experience with the demo from CES 2013/14, so I would love any feedback from those of you who have used anything from the company.

At CES 2013 I, quite randomly, came upon the FOREO booth.  It was tucked away at the back of one of the halls.  The representative explained that the Luna is the device to have, especially if your skin is too sensitive for the Clarisonic.  It is made of silicone, which is gentler on the skin.  They had demos, so when she handed it too me, I tried it on my hand.  It, literally, felt like a vibrator for the face (which is frequently noted in the comments)...

I could understand the cleansing concept.  The Luna pulses to gently clean the skin and unclog pores.  Because of he material used, it is also said to be more hygienic, durable, and won't cost extra money since there are no brush heads to replace.  Does it really clean as well as it claims?  After reading the reviews people love it or hate it.  Then came CES 2014, and they had the Luna mini.  Cute concept, but I still have my reservations.  I'm not sure whether or not to shell out such a large amount of money for a device that may not be effective.  Should I decide to purchase it, I will have a more thorough review.  Thoughts?
